Preparations

 Place the selections in the Selections folder to your PSP program

 

 

Double-click on the Presets and they are automatically imported into Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact

Colorpalette

 

Tips!

* If you use other colors, you can change Blend Mode and Opacity for a better result.

* You may want to use same shades of colors (light and dark colors). Other shades can result in a very different image.

* Make sure your image has the same size as written in section 1. Selections will not match an image in a different size.

1.   Set the foregroundcolor to #b06d5c and backgroundcolor to #ffffff

 

       Change the foregroundcolor to Gradient, Foreground-Background:

 

       

 

       Open New Transparent Image 900 x 500 pixels.

 

       Flood fill the layer with the gradient.

 

 

2.   Effects - Reflection Effects - Feedback:

 

      

 

 

3.   Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk.

 

       Find 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Sel1':

 

      

 

       Effects - Reflection Effects - Rotating Mirror:

 

      

 

       Selections - Invert.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on you keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       Layers - Duplicate.

 

 

4.   Close the eye on the copy 'Copy (2) of Raster 1' and activate the original:

 

      

 

       Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Multiply.

 

 

5.   Activate the bottom layer, Raster 1.

 

       Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimted 2.0 - &<Bkg Designer sf10 IV> - @BlueBerry Pie:

 

      

 

       Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.

 

 

       Your image should look like this now:

 

      

 

 

6.   Activate the layer in the middle 'Copy of Raster 1':

 

      

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 2.

       Flood Fill with the backgroundcolor #ffffff

 

 

7.   Open Mask 'OBG_MASK_150.jpg' and minimize it.

 

       Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image.

 

       Find Mask 'OBG_MASK_150.jpg':

 

      

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Group.

 

 

8.   Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Soft Light.

 

 

9.   Open the eye on the top layer, Copy (2) of Raster 1 and activate it.

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #523128

 

       Repeat Drop Shadow with the same settings.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Burn.

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

 

 

10. Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

11. Activate Selection Tool - Custom Selection :

 

      

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 1.

       Flood Fill the selection with the backgroundcolor #ffffff

 

       Keep the selection on.

 

 

12. Open Mask 'Narah_mask_0810.jpg' and minimize it.

 

       Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image.

 

       Find 'Narah_mask_0810.jpg':

 

      

 

 

13. Activate the layer 'Mask - Raster 1'.

 

       Layers -Duplicate:

 

      

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Group.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

14. Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Luminance (L) and Opacity to 80.

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

 

 

       Your image should look like this now:

 

      

 

 

15. Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 1.

 

       Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Superstar.

 

       Under Settings - User Settings choose 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Superstar':

 

      

 

       If you want to change the settings manually, change under Basic and Colors:

 

      

 

 

16. Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

       Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meister - Copies.

 

       Start by choosing 'Line':

 

      

 

17. Change the foregroundcolor to Color #d8513b

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from disk like before, but find 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Sel2'.

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor.

 

 

18. Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass.

 

       Under Settings - User Settings choose 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Glass':

 

      

 

       If you want to change the settings manually, change under Basic:

 

       All the numbers need to bo 0 except Bevel Width and Inner Shadow Opacity:

 

      

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

19. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #740c08

 

 

20. Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

 

21. Open Image 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Deco1'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 2.

 

       Activate Pick Tool again with these settings:

 

      

 

 

22. Open Image 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Deco2'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 3.

 

       Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

 

23. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #ffffff

 

       Drop Shadow once more with these settings:

 

      

       Color #740c08

 

       In the layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Overlay and Opacity to 75.

 

 

24. Open Image 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Deco3'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 4.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Opacity to 75.

 

 

25. Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 5.

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from disk like before, but find 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Sel3'.

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor #d8513b

 

 

26. Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass.

 

       Under Settings - User Settings choose 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Glass' like in section 18.

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

27. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #740c08

 

 

28. Open Image 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Text1'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 6.

 

       Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

 

29. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #740c08

 

       Drop Shadow once more, but change:

 

       Vertical/Horizontal 0, Opacity 72 and Blur 58.

 

 

30. Open Image 'cas_WomenWithStyle_Text2'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 7.

 

       Activate Pick Tool again with these settings:

 

      

 

      

31. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #740c08

 

       Drop Shadow once more but change:

 

       Vertical/Horizontal 0, Opacity 58 og Blur 58.

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

 

 

31. Selections - Select All.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 1.

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout:

 

      

       Color #740c08

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

32. Image - Add Borders:

 

      

       Color #d8513b

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 20 pixels, color #faf0ee

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 1 pixel, color #d8513b

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 3 pixels, color #faf0ee

 

 

33. Selections - Select All.

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 3 pixels, color #eba599

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 4 pixels, color #e17a69

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 5 pixels, color #d8513b

 

       Selections - Invert.

 

       Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.

 

 

34. Selections - Select All.

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 30 pixels, color #faf0ee

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #740c08

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

35. Open the tube 'KaD_WinterWoman23'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 1.

 

       Image - Resize 55%, uncheck All Layers.

 

 

36. Activate Selection Tool and select the logo:

 

      

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       Activate Pick Tool and place the tube in the bottom like this:

 

      

 

 

37. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow like before:

 

      

       Color #740c08

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 1 pixel, color #d8513b

 

 

38. Resize your image, if you want it smaller.

 

       Sign your image or place your watermark and save as JPG.
