Preparations

 Place the selections in the Selections folder to your PSP program

 

Double-click on the Preset 'cas_MorningStar_Glass' in the material folder, and it is automatically imported into Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass.

Tips!

* If you use other colors, you can change Blend Mode and Opacity for a better result.

* You may want to use same shades of colors (light and dark colors). Other shades can result in a very different image.

* Make sure your image has the same size as written in section 1. Selections will not match an image in a different size.

1.   Set the foregroundscolor to #796973  and the backgroundcolor to #e8e4e7

 

       Change the foregroundcolor to Gradient, Foreground-Background:

 

       

 

       Open New Transparent Image 900 x 500 pixels.

 

       Flood Fill with the gradient.

 

 

2.   Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Free Rotate:

 

      

 

 

3.   Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Seamless - Get 1 Tile with the standard settings:

 

      

 

 

4.   Image - Free Rotate:

 

      

 

 

5.   Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

 

6.   Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Mirror').

 

       Image - Resize 85%, uncheck All Layers.

 

 

7.   Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Down.

 

       Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur 56.

 

 

8.   Switch the colors on the foreground- and backgroundcolor by clicking the small arrow.

 

       It is important, that the foregroundcolor is the light color and the backgroundcolor is the dark color:

 

      

 

       Effects - Plugins - Textures - Vitrail:

 

      

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

 

 

9.   Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk.

 

       Find 'cas_MorningStar_Sel1':

 

      

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Dodge and Opacity to 62.

 

 

10. Activate the bottom layer, Raster 1.

 

       Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Layers - Arrange - Bring to Top.

 

       Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Flood:

 

       Click on the red arrow and find 'cas_MorningStar_Flood' in the material folder:

 

      

       Color #4f454b.

 

 

11. Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk like before, but find 'cas_MorningStar_Sel2'.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Overlay.

 

 

12. Open the Image 'cas_MorningStar_Deco1'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your Image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 2.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Overlay.

 

13. Change the foregroundcolor to #ffffff

 

       Open Mask 'Narah_Mask_1188' and minimize it.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 3.

 

       Flood Fill with the foregroundcolor.

 

 

14. Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image.

 

       Find 'Narah_Mask_1188':

 

      

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Group.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Dodge and Opacity to 48.

 

 

15. Open the tube '1381757286_hiver_nikita'.

 

       Edit - Copy, Edit - Paste as New Image.

 

       Close the original.

       Remove the logo in the bottom left corner with Selection Tool - Feather 0:

 

      

 

 

16. Edit - Copy, minimize it. We need it later.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 3.

 

       Image - Resize 85%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Opacity to 85.

 

       OBS! If you use another tube, you can skip Sharpen.

 

 

17. Open the Image 'cas_MorningStar_Deco2'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 4.

 

       Activate Pick Tool again with these settings:

 

      

 

 

18. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #551344

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Overlay and Opacity to 63.

 

 

       Your Image should look like this now:

      

 

 

19. Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 5.

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk like before, but find 'cas_MorningStar_Sel3'.

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor #ffffff

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

20. Change the backgroundcolor to #f1d3e1

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 6.

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk like before, but find 'cas_MorningStar_Sel4'.

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor #ffffff

 

       Selections - Modify - Contract 2.

       Flood Fill the selection wiht the backgroundcolor #f1d3e1

 

 

21. Selections - Modify - Contract 5.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Modify - Expand 1.

 

       Activate the layer below, Raster 5.

 

 

22. Open your copy of the tube '1381757286_hiver_nikita', you minimized earlier.

 

       Edit - Copy.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 7.

 

       Image - Resize 45%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Activate Move Tool and move the the tube into the selection like this:

 

      

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

 

 

23. Keep the selection on.

 

       Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass.

 

       Under Settings - User Settings choose the preset 'cas_MorningStar_Glass':

 

      

 

       Selections - Invert.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

24. Activate the top layer, Raster 6.

 

       Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Reize 80%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

25. Activate Magic Wand , Feather 0 and click inside the frame.

 

       Selections - Modify - Expand 1.

 

       Activate the layer below, Raster 6.

 

       Edit - Paste as New Layer (the tube from before is in your computers memory).

 

       Image - Resize 35%, uncheck All Layers.

 

 

26. Move the tube into the selection like this:

 

      

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

 

       Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass with the same settings as before.

 

       Selections - Invert.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

27. Activate the top layer, Copy of Raster 6.

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Down.

 

       Repeat Merge Down 2 more times.

 

       The top layer is now Raster 7:

 

      

 

 

28. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #551344

 

       Checkmark in 'Shadow on new layer'.

 

29. Change the foregroundcolor to #796973  and backgroundcolor to #e8e4e7  like in section 1.

 

       Effects - Plugins - Textures - Vitrail like before:

 

      

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Multiply and Opacity to 80.

 

 

30. Activate the top layer, Raster 7.

 

       Open the Image 'cas_MorningStar_Text'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 6.

 

       Activate Pick Tool and place it up in the right corner like this:

 

      

 

 

31. Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Resize 75%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Activate Pick Tool again and place it down in the left corner like this:

 

      

 

 

32. Layers - Merge - Merge Down.

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #551344

 

       Remember to uncheck 'Shadow on new layer'.

 

 

33. Open the tube 'Gabry-woman 176-17-'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as new Layer, Raster 8.

 

 

34. Image - Resize 60%, uncheck All Layers.

       Remove the logo in the bottom left corner with Eraser Tool :

 

      

 

       Activate Pick Tool and place the tube in the bottom like this:

 

      

 

 

35. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

 

       OBS! If you use another tube, you may skip Sharpen.

 

 

36. Image - Add Borders:

 

      

       Color #796973

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 40 pixels, color #ffffff

 

 

37. Activate Magic Wand, Feather 0 and select the white frame.

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Buttonize:

 

      

       Color #831d69

 

 

38. Selections - Invert.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 1.

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout:

 

      

       Color #000000

 

 

39. Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 2.

 

       Selections - Select All.

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout:

 

      

       Color #000000

 

 

40. Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 3.

 

       Repeat Cutout, but change Vertical and Horizontal to -30.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       Close the eye on the bottom layer:

 

      

 

       Activate one of the other layers.

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

 

       Open the eye again and activate the top layer, Merged.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Overlay.

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge All (Flatten).

 

 

41. Resize your image, if you want it smaller.

 

       Sign your image or place your watermark and save as JPG.
