Preparations

 Place the selections in the Selections folder to your PSP program

Tips!

* If you use other colors, you can change Blend Mode and Opacity for a better result.

* You may want to use same shades of colors (light and dark colors). Other shades can result in a very different image.

* Make sure your image has the same size as written in section 1. Selections will not match an image in a different size.

1.   Set the foregroundcolor to #35424b  and backgroundcolor to #adb9b3

 

       Change the foregroundcolor to Gradient, Foreground-Background:

 

       

 

 

       Open New Transparent Image 900 x 500 pixels.

 

       Flood Fill with the gradient.

 

 

2.   Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Mirror').

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Vertical (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Flip').

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Soft Light.

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

 

 

3.   Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk.

 

       Find 'cas_Halloween2017_Sel1':

 

      

 

       Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur:

 

      

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

4.   Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Mirror').

 

       Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

       Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Dodge and Opacity to 80.

 

 

5.   Activate the bottom layer, Merged.

 

       Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Free Rotate:

 

      

 

       Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.

 

 

6.   Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Layers - Arrange - Bring to Top.

 

       Effects - Plugins - VanDerLee - Unplugged-X - Defocus:

 

      

 

 

7.   Open the Mask 'Narah_mask_0810' and minimize it.

 

       Change the foregroundcolor to #ffffff 

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 1.

 

       Flood Fill the layer with the foregroundcolor.

 

 

8.   Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image.

 

       Find 'Narah_mask_0810':

 

      

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Group.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Overlay and Opacity to 90.

 

 

       Your image should look like this now:

 

      

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

 

 

9.   Open the tube 'K@rine_dreams_Misted_Halloween_3031_Octobre_2015.pspimage'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 1.

 

       Selections - Select All.

 

       Edit - Paste into selection.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Mirror').

 

 

10. Selections - Load/save Selection - Load Selection from Disk like before, but choose 'cas_Halloween2017_sel2'.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Keep the selection on.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Multiply and Opacity to 80.

 

 

11. Edit - Paste as New Layer (the tube is still in your computers memory).

 

       Image - Resize 80%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Luminance.

 

       If you use other colors/tubes, you migh want to choose another Blend Mode/Opacity.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 3.

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000

 

       Drop Shadow once more but change Vertical/Horizontal to -10/-10.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

12. Open the Mask 'Narah_Mask_1025' and minimize it.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 4.

       Flood Fill the layer with the foregroundcolor #ffffff

 

 

13. Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image.

 

       Find 'Narah_mask_1025':

 

      

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Group.

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Mirror').

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Dodge and Opacity to 25.

 

 

14. Selections - Load/save Selection - Load Selection from Disk like before, and choose 'cas_Halloween2017_sel2' again.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 4.

 

       Change the backgroundcolor to #96a8b4

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the backgroundcolor.

 

       Selections - Modify - Contract 1 pixel.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

15. Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

 

16. Effects - Reflection Effects - Rotating Mirror:

 

      

 

 

17. Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Mirror').

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Vertical (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Flip').

 

       Selections - Load/save Selection - Load Selection from Disk like before, but choose 'cas_Halloween2017_sel3'.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Down.

 

 

18. Activate Raster 1:

 

      

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 5.

 

       Activate Selection Tool , Custom Selection :

 

      

 

       Activate Flood Fill Tool and lower Opacity to 30:

 

      

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor #ffffff

 

       Remember to set Opacity back to 100.

 

 

19. Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk like before but choose 'cas_Halloween2017_sel2'.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on you keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Dodge.

 

 

20. Activate the top layer, Raster 4.

 

       Open the tube 'bat-054'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 6.

 

       Image - Resize 45%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Activate Pick Tool and place it up in the left corner like this:

 

      

 

       In the Layerpalettee, set Blend Mode to Burn and Opacity to 60.

 

 

21. Open the tube 'TreeTubesHolloween0802'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 6.

 

       Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize:

 

      

 

 

22. Image - Resize 35%, uncheck i All Layers.

 

       Activate Pick Tool and place it down in the left corner like this:

 

      

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Opacity to 30.

 

 

23. Open Image 'cas_Halloween2017_Text1'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 8.

 

       Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

       If you use other colors, you can change the color with 'Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize' like before.

 

 

24. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000

 

       Drop Shadow once more, but change Blur to 30.

 

 

25. Open Image 'cas_Halloween2017_Text2'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 9.

 

 

26. Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Close the eye on the top layer, and activate the origial, Raster 9:

 

      

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Overlay.

 

 

27. Open the eye on the top layer, Copy of Raster 9 and activate it.

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #131f27

 

 

28. Effects - Artistic Effects - Colored Edges:

 

      

       Color #5b7987

 

       Repeat Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #131f27

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Opacity to 65.

 

 

29. Open Image 'cas_Halloween2017_Deco1'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 10.

 

       Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

 

30. Change the foregroundcolor to #35424b and backgroundcolor to #131f27

 

       Set the foregroundcolor to Gradient:

 

      

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk like before but choose 'cas_Halloween2017_sel4'.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 1.

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the gradient.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Multiply.

 

 

31. Image - Add Borders:

 

      

       Color #131f27

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 40 pixels, color #5b7987

      

 

32. Effects - Plugins - AAA Frame - Foto Frame:

 

      

 

 

33. Open the tube 'Spider_and_Web_Transparent_Clip_Art_Image.pspimage'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 1.

 

       Image - Resize 60%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

      

34. Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow:

 

      

      

 

35. Open Image 'cas_Halloween2017_Deco2'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 2.

 

       Activate Pick Tool and place it up in the right corner:

 

      

 

 

36. Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Mirror').

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Vertical (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Flip').

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 1 pixel, color #5b7987

 

 

37. Resize your image, if you want it smaller.

 

       Sign your image or place your watermark and save as JPG.
