Preparations

 Place the selections in the Selections folder to your PSP program

Place the Brush(es) in the Brushes folder to your PSP program

Tips!

* If you use other colors, you can change Blend Mode and Opacity for a better result.

* You may want to use same shades of colors (light and dark colors). Other shades can result in a very different image.

* Make sure your image has the same size as written in section 1. Selections will not match an image in a different size.

1.   Set the foregroundcolor to #f8edaf and backgroundcolor to #5e5e5c

 

       Change the foregroundcolor to Gradient, Foreground-Background:

 

       

 

       Open New Transparent Image 900 x 500 pixels.

 

       Flood Fill with the gradient.

 

 

2.   Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Effects - Plugins - Mehdi - Eraser Genuine:

 

      

 

       OBS! Do NOT change the 3 numbers in the top (Hue, Saturation, Brightness), even if the numbers are not the same.

 

 

3.   Effects - Geometric Effects - Skew:

 

      

 

 

4.   Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meister - Pole Transform:

 

      

 

       Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.

 

 

5.   Image - Rotate Left.

 

       Effects - Distortion Effects - Wind:

 

      

 

       Image - Rotate Right.

 

       Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

 

 

6.   Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

 

7.   Selections - Load/Save Selection - Find 'cas_Christmas2017_Sel1':

 

      

 

       Edit - Clear, Or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

8.   Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

 

9.   Effects - Photo Effects - Black and White Film:

 

      

 

 

10. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #ffffff

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Luminance (Legacy).

 

 

11. Activate the second layer from the top, Copy of Raster 1:

 

      

 

       Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Flood.

 

       Push the red arrow and find the preset 'cas_Christmas2017_Flood' in the materials or change the settings manually:

 

      

 

12. Change the foregroundcolor to #ffffff

 

       Activate the top layer, Copy (2) of Raster 1.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 2.

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selections - Load Selection from Disk like before but find 'cas_Christmas2017_Sel2'.

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor #ffffff.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

13. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000

 

 

14. Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Activate the original, Raster 2.

 

       Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meister - Copies.

 

       Change 1 and 2 first:

 

      

       Color #f2de6c

 

 

15. Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Brightness/Contrast:

 

      

 

       Layers - Dulicate.

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Mirror').

 

 

16. Selections - Load/Save Selections - Load Selection from Disk like before, but find 'cas_Christmas2017_Sel3'.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Opacity to 38.

 

 

17. Activate the top layer, Copy of Raster 2.

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Down.

 

       Merge Down once more.

 

       Your image should look like this now:

 

      

 

 

18. Activate the layer Copy (2) of Raster 1:

 

      

 

       Open the tube 'Pixidust_Stars_29.07.2017'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 3.

 

19. Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Opacity to 90.

 

 

20. Activate the top layer, Raster 2.

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk like before, but find 'cas_Christmas2017_Sel4'.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Activate Raster 3.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 4.

 

       Selections - Modify - Expand 1 pixel.

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout:

 

      

       Color #000000

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

21. Activate the top layer, Raster 2.

 

       Open Image 'cas_Christmas2017_Deco1'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 5.

 

       Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

 

22. Activate the second layer from the bottom, Copy of Raster 1:

 

      

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selections - Load Selection from Disk like before and find 'cas_Christmas2017_Sel1' again.

 

       Edit - Copy.

 

       Activate the top layer, Raster 5.

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 6.

 

       Edit - Paste into Selection.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Multiply.

 

 

23. Edit - Paste as New Image.

 

       Minimize it, we need it later.

 

       Back on your image, Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

 

 

24. Open Image 'cas_Christmas2017_Deco2'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as new Layer, Raster 1.

 

25. Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000

 

 

26. Open Image 'cas_Christmas2017_Text1'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your Image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 2.

 

 

27. Activate Pick Tool with these settings:

 

      

 

       Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #4d482b

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Luminance (Legacy) and Opacity to 90.

 

 

28. Image - Add Borders:

 

      

       Color #4d482b

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 15 pixels, color #ffffff

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 1 pixel, color #4d482b

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 5 pixels, color #ffffff

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 2 pixels, color #4d482b

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 25 pixels, color #ffffff

 

 

29. Open the copy of the layer from section 23.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 1.

 

       In the top menu choose Objects - Align - Bottom.

 

 

30. Activate Pick Tool - Mode: Scale - and pull the small squares in both sides out till they reach the edges of your image:

 

      

 

       Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Activate the original, Raster 1.

 

       Set Blend Mode to Multiply.

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Visible.

 

 

31. Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 1.

 

       Activate Paint Brush and find 'ice_n_snow_008':

 

      

 

       Left click once with the mouse with the foregroundcolor #ffffff :

 

      

 

 

32. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #4d482b

 

 

33. Open the tube 'tubtatie_1120589'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your Image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 2.

 

       Image - Resize 30%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Activate Pick Tool and place it on the ice like this:

 

      

 

 

34. Effects - Plugins - Lokas Software - 3D Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000

 

 

35. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #4d482b

 

 

36. Open the tube '86_tube_noel_p1_animabelle.pspimage'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your Image, Edit - Paste as new Layer, Raster 3.

 

       Activate Selection Tool , Rectangle - Feather 0, and select the text:

 

      

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

37. Image - Resize 75%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Activate Pick Tool and place it up in the left corner like this:

 

      

 

 

38. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000

39. Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 1 pixel, color #4d482b

 

      

40. Resize your image, if you want it smaller.

 

       Sign your image or place your watermark and save as JPG.
