  Preparations

Place the selections 'cas_Valentines2016_Sel1' and 'cas_Valentines2016_Sel2' in the Selections folder to your PSP program.

       If you use other colors, you can change Blend Mode and Opacity for a better result.

 

  
 

1.   Set the foregroundcolor to #ce5861  and backgroundcolor to #e8ddd9

 

       Change the foregroundcolor to Gradient, Foreground-Background:

 

      

 

       Open a New Transparent Image 500 x 900 pixels

 

      

 

       Flood Fill with the gradient.

 

 

2.   Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

       Image - Rotate Right.

 

       Layers - Duplicate.

 

      

3.   Effects - Plugins - Filter Factory Gallery L - Bonny Tyler:

 

      

 

       Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Soft Light.

 

 

4.   Change the foregroundcolor to #ffffff (white).

 

       Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 2.

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk.

 

       Find 'cas_Valentines2016_Sel1':

 

      

 

       Flood Fill the selection with the foregroundcolor (white).

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

5.   Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

      

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Overlay.

 

 

6.   Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 3.

 

       Activate Selection Tool - Custum Selection :

 

      

 

 

7.   Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #000000 (black)

 

       Drop Shadow once more, but change Vertical to -5

 

 

8.   Activate Selection Tool - Custom Selection again:

 

      

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

9.   Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 4.

 

       Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection like before, but find 'cas_Valentines2016_Sel2'.

 

       Flood Fill with the backgroundcolor

 

 

10. Effects - Plugins - AAA Frames - Foto Frame:

 

      

 

       If you use other colors, you can change the color by pushing the slides on Red, Green and Blue.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

11. Open the tube 'Yoka-Misted-Faces-230410'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 5.

 

       Image - Resize 60%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Activate Pick Tool and move the tube to the left side of your image:

 

      

 

 

12. Layers - Duplicate.

 

       Image - Resize 85%, uncheck All Layers.

 

       Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal (in previous PSP versions 'Image - Mirror')

 

       In the layerpalette, move the layer, Copy of Raster 5, beneath Raster 4.

 

       You can drag the layer down in the layerpalette or use Layers - Arrange - Move Down twice:

 

      

 

 

13. Layers - Duplicate twice, so you have 3 identical layers.

 

       Close the eye on the layers Copy of Raster 5 and Copy (2) of Raster 5:

 

      

 

 

14. Activate Raster 4.

 

       Activate Magic Wand :

 

      

 

       Select the inside of the frame to the right.

 

       Selections - Modify - Expand 2 pixels.

 

 

15. Activate Move Tool and place the tube on the layer Copy (3) of Raster 5 in the frame like this:

 

      

 

       Selections - Invert.

 

       Activate Copy (3) of Raster 5.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

16. Activate Raster 4 again.

 

       Activate Magic Wand and select the inside of the frame in the middle.

 

       Selections - Modify - Expand 2 pixels.

 

       Open the eye on the layer Copy (2) of Raster 5.

 

 

17. Activate Move Tool and place the tube on the layer Copy (2) of Raster 5 in the frame like this:

 

      

 

       Selections - Invert.

 

       Activate the layer Copy (2) of Raster 5.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

18. Actiate Raster 4 again.

 

       Activate Magic Wand again, and select the inside of the frame to the left.

 

       Selections - Modify - Expand 2 pixels.

 

       Open the eye of the layer Copy of Raster 5.

 

 

19. Activate Move Tool and place the tube on the layer Copy of Raster 5 in the frame like this:

 

      

 

       Selections - Invert.

 

       Activate the layer Copy of Raster 5.

 

       Edit - Clear, or hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

 

       Selections - Select None.

 

 

20. Activate Raster 2.

 

       Open the Image 'cas_Valentines2016_Deco1'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 6.

 

 

21. Effects - Image Effects - Offset:

 

      

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Blend Mode to Luminance (Legacy).

 

 

22. Layers - New Raster Layer, Raster 7.

 

       Flood Fill with the foregroundcolor (white).

 

       Open Mask 'cas_Mask_0415_27a' and minimize it.

 

 

23. Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image.

 

       Find 'cas_Mask_0415_27a':

 

      

 

       Layers - Merge - Merge Group.

 

 

24. Activate the top layer, Raster 5.

 

       In the Layerpalette, set Opacity til 75.

 

 

25. Open the image 'cas_Valentines2016_Text1'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       On your image, Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 7.

 

 

26. Effects - Image Effects - Offset:

 

      

 

 

27. Open the image 'cas_Valentines2016_Text2'.

 

       Edit - Copy, close it down.

 

       Edit - Paste as New Layer, Raster 8.

 

       Activate Pick Tool and place it like this:

 

      

 

 

28. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:

 

      

       Color #ce5861

 

      

29. Image - Add Borders:

 

      

       Color #000000 (black)

 

       Image - Add Borders, Symmetric, 40 pixels, color #ffffff (white)

 

 

30. Effects - Plugins - AAA Frames - Foto Frame:

 

      

 

 

31. Resize your image, if you want it smaller.

 
       Sign the image or place your watermark on it and save as JPG.
